This was another reedbed refurbishment for one of our clients. The existing reedbed was coming to the end of its operational life span.
We relined this with one layer of geotextile, 1mm LLDPE and finished with a second layer of geotextile. Alongside this, the site had another team preparing the new pipe system.
By adding the new geosynthetics we were able to prolong its life for a further 25 years.
